Move Into a Brooklyn Apartment That Is Actually Clean
The broker showed the apartment with the lights low and the previous tenant's rug still down. Now the keys are in your hand, the place is empty, and you can see what was really there: a sticky film inside the kitchen drawers, dust bunnies where the bed used to be, a ring in the tub, hair in the bathroom vent. Move-in cleaning exists for exactly this moment.
Brooklyn units change hands fast, and the cleaning between tenants is often whatever the landlord could arrange the day before. Sponsor units in new Downtown Brooklyn and Williamsburg towers arrive with protective film on the appliances and grout haze on the bathroom tile. A gut-renovated one-bedroom in Crown Heights can still have plaster dust in the closets. A sublet takeover in Bushwick may have had no cleaning at all.
An empty apartment is the one chance to clean everything without working around furniture. We wipe the inside of every cabinet, drawer, and closet. We clean the microwave inside and out, wipe down every appliance, scrub the shower and grout, wash the baseboards and door frames, and finish the floors last so you walk into a space that is actually ready for your things. Inside the oven and fridge can be added when you book.
Timing is usually tight, and we plan around that. If your building requires a freight elevator reservation, we work inside the window you booked. If closing on a co-op or condo is Thursday and the movers come Saturday, Friday is ours. Keys can be left with the super, a doorman, or a lockbox, and you do not need to be there.
Move-in cleaning is priced by apartment size: $180 to $240 for a studio, $220 to $300 for a one-bedroom, $280 to $380 for a two-bedroom, and $380 and up for three or more bedrooms. Book it as a one-time visit or as the first clean of a recurring schedule at your new place.

When to Schedule Move-In Cleaning in Brooklyn
1Key Day
You get access, we clean the empty rooms, the movers arrive the next morning. The cleanest possible sequence for a Brooklyn move.
2Renovated Right Before You Signed
Fresh paint and new counters look great, but renovation dust hides in closets and cabinets. We remove it before your clothes and dishes go in.
3Taking Over a Room or Sublet
Moving into a shared apartment? We can clean your room, the bathroom, and the shared kitchen so you start on your own terms.
4After a Co-op or Condo Closing
Between closing and moving day there is often a gap. Use it. An empty, freshly cleaned apartment is easier to plan, paint, and furnish.
Start Your New Place on a Schedule
Keep the move-in shine going with weekly, biweekly, or monthly visits at your new Brooklyn address
Weekly
For full households, pets, roommates, and anyone who entertains
15% OFFBi-Weekly
The rhythm most New York apartments settle into
10% OFFMonthly
A reset for studios, one-bedrooms, and tidy solo households
Quarterly
A seasonal deep clean four times a year, radiator dust included.
Nobody in this city has spare hours for scrubbing. Between the commute, late nights at work, and weekends that fill up on their own, the apartment gets pushed down the list. A standing visit takes it off the list entirely. Choose weekly, every other week, or monthly, and we hold the slot for you. Traveling or hosting on a different day? Move the visit with a day's notice at no charge.

Post-Construction Cleaning BrooklynBrooklyn Move-In Cleaning Questions
Yes. Arrange access through your broker, super, doorman, or a lockbox and we handle the rest. We confirm when we arrive and when we finish.
The checklist covers the microwave inside and out plus the exteriors of the fridge, oven, and dishwasher. Interior oven and fridge cleaning is a quick add-on; mention it when you book and we bring the right products.
We will bag small loose items and set them aside, but hauling out furniture, mattresses, or bulk trash is outside what we do. Your landlord or a junk removal service should handle that before we arrive.
Tell us the window your building gave you and we schedule within it. In doorman buildings we also check in at the desk and bring a certificate of insurance if the management office asks for one.
Yes. Many clients book a move-in clean for the empty apartment and then start a biweekly or monthly schedule once they are settled.
Plan on two to three hours for a studio, three to four for a one-bedroom, and four or more for a two-bedroom or larger. Condition matters as much as size, so photos help us give an accurate estimate.
