Clean the Empty Apartment Before It Stops Being Empty

Broom clean is the standard most Bronx landlords hand a unit over in. It means the floor was swept. It does not mean anyone wiped the inside of the kitchen drawers, scrubbed the tub, or cleaned the top of the refrigerator. Our move-in clean closes the gap between what a lease requires and what you would actually want to unpack into.

The right moment is the day you have keys and before the boxes arrive. An empty apartment lets us clean the closet floors, the inside of every cabinet, the wall where the couch will go and the whole length of every baseboard. Once furniture is in, a third of those surfaces are gone for good.

We see the full range of Bronx move-ins. A freshly painted one bedroom in Norwood where the painter left a haze on the floors. A Mott Haven condo that sat open through construction. A Riverdale co-op after a decades-long owner moved out. A Throgs Neck house a family just closed on. Each gets the same checklist and its own scope.

Timing in the Bronx is tight. Leases in elevator buildings often come with a booked freight elevator slot for the movers, and you may only have that one day. Tell us the schedule and we work around it, including early mornings and weekends when the building allows.

If the previous tenant left the place worse than the listing photos suggested, send us a few pictures before we arrive. We would rather quote the real condition than surprise you with an adjustment at the door.

The most common booking. We clean the empty unit today, your truck arrives tomorrow.

2Overlapping Leases

If you are paying for both places for a week, use it. We clean the new one at a time that suits you.

3Just Closed on a House

Buyers in Throgs Neck, Morris Park and Riverdale book us the day after closing, before the furniture.

4Fresh Paint, Dusty Floors

A renovated or repainted unit still needs the sanding dust and paint haze removed before you live in it.

Nobody in this city has spare hours for scrubbing. Between the commute, late nights at work, and weekends that fill up on their own, the apartment gets pushed down the list. A standing visit takes it off the list entirely. Choose weekly, every other week, or monthly, and we hold the slot for you. Traveling or hosting on a different day? Move the visit with a day's notice at no charge.

Bronx Move-In Cleaning Questions

As soon as you have a move-in date. The last week of the month fills first, especially in June and September.

Usually yes. A landlord's clean is typically a sweep and a wipe. Ours does the inside of cabinets, the tub grout and the closet shelves.

We would rather not. Cleaning and moving at the same time means we redo the floors. Book us the day before or the morning of, before the truck.

Yes. Send the building's requirements and we will have the COI sent to management before the appointment.

Inside the fridge and oven, exterior windows and carpet shampooing are add-ons. Mention them when you book and we will price them in.

Two to four hours for a Bronx apartment, four to six for a house, depending on size and what the last occupant left behind. Text or call (929) 810-2732 for a time estimate.
